While this is still possible, there are some downsides to running <code>clang-format</code> automatically via <code>pre-commit</code> (for example, <code>clang-format</code> formatting <a href="https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/issues/52712#issuecomment-1516541794" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">does not 100% align</a> with the Zephyr project coding style and needs some manual fixing).</p>
